The second half to my Mother's Day was taking my two furry children to the dog park. I know they don't always get the special treatment they did pre-Kyle, so we thought this was a nice way to show them we appreciate them. It's the first time we've ever taken them off-leash, but they did great. They stuck together and even though they got quite far from us at times, they came back when called. This dog park is the best I've ever seen and it's just a couple miles from our house at Chatfield State Park. It's got miles and miles of space for them to roam, beautiful views of the mountains, and several lakes for them to play in. Plus trails for us to hike on while they play. We'll be going back for sure!
