Kyle had a wonderful birthday weekend. It was truly perfect. We had 44 people in attendance for Kyle's birthday party (the day before his birthday-- pictures to come soon by our wonderful photographer, Charity). I'm not sure we've ever had so many kids and adults in the house at once, but it was great. Kyle had a blast roaming around to all the people, we had perfect weather, and lots of great food and conversation. Truly a day I will never forget.
Dave's parents flew into town for the event as did his aunt Janet so we enjoyed spending the evening after his party with them opening gifts and eating leftover party food.

Kyle's first birthday fell on Easter Sunday (how neat is that?) and we celebrated by going to church and grilling out food afterwards. Both sets of grandparents were over for lunch and presents.
While Kyle was truly most fascinated with all the ballons (and the boxes too), he got several nice gifts from the grandparents. Two of his favorite gifts were a wagon and a water table. We took the wagon out for a test-drive on his birthday to the park. He was smiling up a storm as we pulled him around... especially when we went super fast!
