Kyle spent the weekend quite sick. Out of nowhere, he spiked a 104.5 degree fever. The highest he's ever had and we were quite concerned (to say the least). We did numerous baths and the usual Tylenol/Ibuprofen routine, but it wasn't really coming down. We ended up calling the emergency hotline of Kyle's doctor office to reassure ourselves that a trip to the ER wasn't necessary.
The fever lasted 2 days and shortly after it went away, Kyle's entire back and neck broke out in a rash. Luckily, the fever was the worst of this viral illness (they suspect he had roseola). I just hate seeing him so sick and wish I could take all the pain away!
